Easter Sunday at Meemaws/Meemaws 70th.
We had Meemaws 70th Bday party Sunday. Plus easter egg hunt. She had all her brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandkids, great grandkids, and kids there.
It was fun. the guys were putting up the fence in the front and clearing the acre where the cemetary is going to be. Here are some pics from that day.

We went to church services on Easter Sunday at our church but it was held at MTSU Murphy Center. We had Diamond Rio perform, and Miss Patty Cake for the 3-6 yr olds.
We had fun, it was a good service.

Oh, the 3's!
We have had some hard times here with these three year olds!
We moved them to toddler beds about a month ago. We do good to stay in them most days. But its getting them to be quite to go to sleep. We have tried everything!
Also during the day the screaming, fighting, not listening is driving us crazy. I broke down on Thursday last week. I felt so out of control.
after talking to my mom and Adam. We are changing things here!!!!
I am going to make better efforts to not give in to his screaming, put him in his room until he stop screaming not just the 3 minutes. I am not going to intervene in on the fights between him and Madison unless it gets violent. I am going to be more consistent on if i tell either one no for doing something wrong, i am only going to do that 3 times and on the 3rd its time out in the room!
Madison is giving attitude a lot! she was good during the 2's and Austin was bad at 2's and somewhat bad at 3's. Madison's problem is screaming at me, getting things off the counters, and getting into things she is not suppose to. She is also very independent. Austin is head strong, impatient, hard time sharing, saying words i font like him to say, won't listen, and acting very wild at times.

wow was it warm!
We had a warm weekend here. So with Adam's parents here We let the kids play outside with the cars, bikes, and more. While adam and I cleaned out the Garage, plus hang the hooks for bikes, and ladder. It now looks like a garage should!
Now I need to get the Clothes ready for the consignment sale ready!

First birthday!
We had Alexis's first birthday at our house Saturday! I will post pics soon. We had fun, Adams parents were here for it too since they were in town. my friend Brooke did an awesome job on the cake. I will post the pics. Alexis had a ball with her smash cake!
We got her, her big girl car seat, the Fisher price laugh and learn kitchen thing, and the laugh and learn talking purse. plus some clothes.

New things goin on
I am having a blast working at the Olive Garden. I had a week of training before it opened and my mom watched the kids. GREAT money!
Adam's Parents and Papa came in for a few days.
I took the kids to the Discovery Center this Monday, we had fun until Austin threw his fit and we had to leave. Madison got her hand stuck in the elevator. She already had a boo boo on her finger.
When Austin had his fit at the Discovery center, on the way home Austin was still crying and madisoon looked at him and said "Bubby I know your tired baby" I about died laughing!
Alexis said her first word Friday night she was either copying madison saying kitty cat or me saying your stinky. Cause she said "kee kee" it was sooooo cute! She growls all the time copyin after Austin! its so funny!She is also playing patty cake!
We had one year pics at sears for the cheap one year package, because we had our real one year pics done with Jennifer Dunnaway today (wed). We had cake pics with her it was soooo fun!

Update
Alexis's UTI did not grow over the 2 days, so they wanted us to come in on our 1 yr check up and do blood work and more urine work up.
we went Feb 21st and gave blood, but they could not get urine from her. we also had our 1 year shots. Of course she was not very happy at all.
I talked to the dr abour several things, one her urine issue, which we will more than likely see the urologist.
She said not to worry about her small size. She did gain 6 oz in a week, nad she is up 1 in since her 9 month check up.
she said to keep nursing her and give whole milk when i am not around or anytime i like. Or suplement whole milk with breastmilk if i want. So I am sort of weaning her. I am very sad about that! I love the bonding we have and she gets so excited to nurse! plus that means my baby is growin up!
she noticed something about her when i mentioned that she has a hand perference, and I even told the PT lady about it. She said it looks like she has a palsy from birth like a trama, different from Cerebral palsy. She said to keep an eye on it during therapy if it does not get better or no change we will then see a nurologist.
I got a call about the results from the ultrasound and the renal test. the renal test was fine but the ultrasound showed an old UTI. so We have an apt with the Urologist april 14th. YES april 14th! I am on the list in case a cancelation comes up.

Oh the doctor!
Wednesday as I was changing Alexis's diaper that morning I opened it up to a diaper full of what looked like pinkish red koolaid! After much thought I calmly called the dr. I got in that afternoon, I took the diaper with me. She was checked out by the dr so far so good. But we had to do a cath to get urine because that defiantly blood in her urine in her diaper. The test came back with a UTI which is very uncommon under 2. So we are waiting our 2 day wait to see if it does grow to a UTI, if so we will have a ultrasound and other test with Dye in her with a scan done. If no UTI the dr said that is a whole different ballgame. She seems to think there is a "plumbing" issue in which causes the small size. I don't know what exactly she means by this. They will check it all out of course. she said no matter what we will see a urologist at vandy. Austin saw one and had surgery by one at vandy, we will go back to him of course.

I can not believe a year ago today 2/18 my baby was born. WOW were has the time gone!
We went to dinner on saturday night with my mom, Jared, and our family of 5. We had fun! they sang to Allie!

misc things going on
We are still going to the gym 4 to 5 times a week. I am sore from a power lifting class i took. Adam is getting compliments at work that it looks like he is losing weight. sometimes i feel like i am and sometimes not so much. but my goal right now is to just get in shape to gear up to start weight watchers full force and loose weight.
We had some storms here on Super Tuesday that kept me glued to the TV until 3a until it passed us. Others however were not as lucky, keep those people in TN and other states in your prayers!
Did you all go Vote? We diD! I took all 3 kids with me NO STROLLERS! So I dont want to hear any excuses from anyone that did not vote because they had no time or kids with them! blah blah, you do what you have to do. No complaining about who is running in the end or even wins if you dont vote!
I am looking for dance and karate schools for the kids. I have narrowed it down between two Karate schools i think. Dance is whole other issue!

GRRR more Van issues
I was out all day on Tuesday and in the evening i was coming home to let them go potty and grab some stuff for my meeting. I was headed to meet adam in Nashville.
I get in the driveway turn off the car come back turn it on and nothing nothing! weird things started happening the dashboard lights started flashing, a odd clicking sound started coming from the sterring wheel area, then i pull the key out and light still flashing and the interior overhead lights turn orange. then a hissing loud whistle sound comes from the same area as the clicking. we get out I call my brother until adam gets home. he comes looks at it and notices that where the fuse box area is it is HISSING loudly and whistling. I read about this van having shorts causing fires. I called my dad and described it to him and he said a short that caused the battery to die all of a sudden is what he said it sounds like. my brother takes the battery to Auto place and the battery is in deed dead! But i am still scared to drive the darn thing from things i have read about the shorts.

I got a part time job at the Olive Garden that will be opening feb 24th. I start training 2/19th. I am doing this for extra money and to get out of the house. it will be evenings and weekends! I am excited about this!

Lazy Ali
Oh Alexis!
She is such a laid back, lazy child! She is the "typical" 3rd child syndrome. she gets handed everything to her no need for her to work for it. She is a very content child. she has no care to roll and roll or crawl. so we had her evaluated for early intervention she got in. SO we had the PT eval today. She of course got in with one day a week therapy.
The therapist said they see this A LOT with siblings, the other siblings give them things that at our out of reach so no need to work for it. Plus she loves to lay, sit and play and watch the twins act crazy!
She has weaker muscles because she hated her stomach until recently even will not sleep on your chest on her belly! since the stomach muscles development first then legs, then arms then hands. so she has no desire to push up, crawl, pull up, stand etc.
Alexis also already prefers to use her left hand, but will use her right as well just not her preference.
She also may develop later the same hyperflexable joints like Madison. (Austin has it a little , I have it too)
She said it should not take Alexis long to catch up at all.

wow has it really been that long....updates
Well I knew I had been busy but I did not realize it has been 1/2 a month since i last blogged.
Well lets see what we have been up to since then:
* Alexis gets sick again, we thought she had ate something and had an allergic reaction but come to find out on MLK day adam took her to the Dr and she had an infection that causes vomiting and double ear infections along with a mild rash. She has really had this since DEC 3rd, the antibiotics we were on before never cleared it so we got a stronger one this time! thank God!
* Adam, Austin and I got food posioning from one of our fave mexican places by adams work. Adam got it the worst, missed a day of work.
* I have been to the gym 4 days a week!! Lovin it!
* We have made some changes here the kids have moved to Big beds! well we took one side off the crib for now, until we get twin beds. we have done good as far as stayin in the bed but not good being quite. We had to move them back into the same room becuase we needed the dresser in a seperate room so it had to go to Alexis's room. Naps are the hardest.
* austin is doing great day time with the potty, we just need to get the nap and night down.
*We also took the twins out of the high chairs and into booster seats at the table. they love it!
* i have applied at the Olive Garden that is to be opening in the boro Feb 25th.
* My mom took the twins one at a time to Meemaws with her to stay a few days. They did great away from each other and with Nana. Of course to spend time with Meemaw.
* My mom had to have another heart stint. She had pain and was sent to the ER and then transported to St thomas from Fayetteville because Mboro was full. she had a 99% blockage one of her artery.
* My meemaw is doing much better gained 11 lbs, had another scan and it showed the cancer in her adomonen was not growing may have even shrunk, her liver had some more spots nothing large. they said that the cancer was not as agressive as they had thought. so we are praying for her to be able to take the chemo again.
* My Cousin Amy is PREGNANT!! She is Due sept 7th i think. I am so excited!!!
* I am about 20 pages from finishing my book!

More update on resolutions
I am actually adding to my resolutions.
I have had this I don't know what you call it but I have decided to go more "Green". Also we are also not really dieting but we are going to in baby steps do a lifestyle change (how we did before kids) in our eating habits. I am not really going to go total change over until i am done breastfeeding. Also we are going to change our budget to include a gym membership and commit to 3 to 4 times a week(hey free childcare included YEAH). Also try to go more organic, less additives, more fresh veggies/fruits and more healthy wise.
So far I have:
1. bought reusable Kroger bags plus i get 4 cents per bag each time i use them! Plus I hate those plastic bags, i save them to recycle at the store instead of throwing them away.
2. I signed up with www.Melaleuca.com for safer products, less packaging, better for you. If you want more info please ask me!
3. We are no longer going to buying any water bottles.
4. we have already changed most of the light bulbs to CFC's.
I think that is all so far. We have more things planned.

Resolutions
I have a few things
1. Loose weight after I am done breastfeeding (if that happens this year)
